Important Warnings
- Failure to follow instructions may result in serious injury or death.
- Before first use, have assembly checked by a qualified bike mechanic if you are unsure.
- Do not underestimate water: the F20 is IP65 splash resistant (not submersible).
- Always wear an approved helmet and comply with local regulations.
Unboxing & Box Contents
Carefully open the box. Remove the foam and check for the presence and condition of the following items:

If parts are missing or damaged: do not assemble the bike. Immediately contact Evelostore (contact@evelostore.fr) with photos and order number.
Frame Number & Motor Number
The bike has two important identification numbers:
- Frame Number: engraved on the frame — keep it (proof of purchase / warranty / police in case of theft).
- Motor Number: inscribed on the motor. To be provided for technical interventions.
Note: record these numbers and keep them with your proof of purchase.

Installation & Assembly (Main Steps)
1. Handlebar Attachment
- Place the handlebar in the stem and align it correctly.
- Tighten the stem screws crosswise with an Allen key. Recommended torque: to be confirmed as per spec.
2. Front Wheel Assembly
- Remove the protectors and insert the axle into the fork.
- Align the disc in the caliper. Tighten the axle/bolts without excessive force.
- Check for any rubbing.
3. Pedals
Mount the pedals: R (right) and L (left) markings. Screw the right pedal clockwise, the left pedal counter-clockwise. Tighten firmly (open-end wrench).
4. Mudguards & Accessories
Install mudguards, lights, and panniers as supplied according to the packing manual.
5. Checks Before First Start-Up
- Everything is tightened (stem, handlebar, pedals, front wheel).
- Tire pressure OK.
- Battery correctly locked.
- Brakes tested (levers and response).
Battery — Removal, Installation, Maintenance
Battery Removal
- Turn off the bike.
- Insert the key into the battery lock and turn to the "unlock" position.
- Lift the battery by the handle and gently remove it.
Battery Installation
- Insert the battery with the contact side down.
- Engage the connector and push until it locks.
- Turn the key to the "lock" position.
Battery Maintenance & Tips
- Recommended charge after receipt and before first use.
- Do not use an incompatible charger.
- Do not leave the battery unattended while charging for extended periods.
- Store the battery between 10 °C and 25 °C if unused.
- For long-term storage, maintain 30–60% charge and recharge periodically.
- Do not immerse, puncture, or expose to flame.
If the battery is damaged (leakage, swelling, abnormal odor): do not charge and contact after-sales service.
Fork Adjustment & Suspension Lock
- Turn the knob clockwise to increase rigidity (firmer).
- Turn counter-clockwise to soften the fork.
- For a rider weighing >120 kg: lock the fork ("lock" position) before riding.
Do not sit on the saddle while turning the knob.
How to Charge
- Charging on the bike: plug the charger into the frame's charging port.
- External charging: remove the battery and plug the charger into the dedicated battery port.
Safety Instructions During Charging
- Exclusively use the original DUOTTS charger or specified equivalent.
- Do not charge in the presence of flammable objects.
- Do not charge at extreme temperatures.
- If the battery does not charge correctly, stop immediately and contact after-sales service.
Display (LCD) — Introduction & Use
- Speed, total distance (odometer), trip counter, battery level, assistance level, average/max speed.
- Press the On/Off button for 3 seconds to turn on or off.
- The + / − buttons: adjust the assistance level.
- Central / mode button: toggle between speed, trip, odometer, voltage, average speed, max speed.
- Advanced menu: hold + and − simultaneously. Common settings: P01 brightness, P02 units, P04 automatic standby.
General Safety Instructions & Use
- Before each ride: check bolt tightness, tire pressure, brake function, battery lock.
- Do not overload the bike — respect the indicated maximum load.
- Riding in the rain: reduce speed and anticipate braking.
- Avoid heavily flooded roads; electronics are not waterproof.
- Minimum required equipment: helmet. Comply with local legislation (lighting, vest, etc.).
Care & Maintenance
- Cleaning: damp cloth, avoid high-pressure jets.
- Dry after cleaning.
- Lubrication: chain regularly depending on use.
- Periodic checks: bolts, pads, tires, connectors.
Wearing parts: chain, tires, pads, cables — not covered by warranty unless original defect.

If an error persists: note the code, take photos/videos of the display, and contact after-sales service with the frame number.
Warranty & After-Sales Service
- Manufacturer's warranty: 12 months for electrical and mechanical components.
- Non-transferable, applies to the first registered buyer.
- Exclusions: water damage, unauthorized modifications, normal wear and tear.
- For warranty claims: frame number, proof of purchase, description of defect, photos/videos.
