Compliance with EU E29 Regulations
The DUOTTS E29 electric bike is designed and manufactured in accordance with European standards for Electrically Power Assisted Cycles (EPACs). This page helps you understand the product's legal compliance and assures your customers about its use.

Specific EPAC Regulations
- Assistance only when pedaling
- Automatic assistance cut-off above 25 km/h

- Maximum recommended weight: 120 kg (total load with rider and luggage: 180 kg)
Derestriction Prohibited
Any modification to the bike aimed at exceeding legal speed or power limits results in:
- Loss of legal compliance
- Invalidation of insurance in case of an accident
- Administrative or criminal penalties
EU Declaration of Conformity
The DUOTTS E29 is supplied with an official EU Declaration of Conformity stating that the product meets all applicable requirements. This declaration can be provided to the customer upon request.
Legal Use and Safety
The DUOTTS E29 is permitted on roads and cycle paths in the EU when used according to regulations:
- Respect the 25 km/h limit for electric assistance
- Do not modify the motor or electrical components
- Mandatory wearing of an appropriate helmet according to local legislation
